Internet Bali overview

In Bali, having a normal broadband Internet connection is a must: services that require a lot of bands are always more (E.g. real-time concert events or football live transmitted by the net or an internet online games) and if want uses them, you need a good provider ISP. I know many people that choose an internet provider only seeking for the lowest price, and this is an error, a cheap facility 1 bedroom villas in Bali doesn't guarantee you the connection quality and the minimum available band. So, my point of view is to always search for the best compromise between money and quality. The internet situations in Bali link to the Indonesia ISP situation and the telecommunications market. Indonesia, a country of more than 245 million people, continues to see its telecom sector grow very fast. The country has some particularly big challenges to confront in building the necessary telecommunications infrastructure to cover its special complex geography. It must also negotiate with a range of social, political and economic issues. Having rebounded reasonably good from the Indonesia economic crisis of late 1990, the management has been stepping by step remake the telecommunications industry. The Internet users in Indonesia by December 2007 was estimated at 25 million. This show a very low 10% statistic penetration. Broadband Internet access, although sure and certainly on the increase, was still in the very early stages of development, with only one broadband service per 1000 population by end 2006. The government continues to promote the use of online services, but there is much work to be done at this point. The broadband Internet services were finally starting to grow up, peoples subscriber numbers doubling in 2006, but broadband penetration still low. The government now deal with the foreign investment in the telecommunications sector in 2007, a move partly in response to the recent influx of Singaporean capital.
